My name is Emma and I am on my first YNIA trip. I had no idea what to expect at my sight. I am working at the House of Hope. This house is for women aged 18-22 who have been homeless or don’t get support from their parents, so they aren’t able to have their own home. In the home they learn basic skills and are set up for a more successful life. Today I organized the basement of the house. I sorted through dish soap, canned goods, and body lotion. Everything in the house is donated from citizens of Green Bay, so we all organized the donations. We were serving others and I have seen what the women at the house are going through.
